Introduction:
This project aims to eliminate range anxiety for electric vehicle (EV) users by enabling wireless charging while driving, using electromagnetic induction.
Circuit Components:
- Transmitter Circuit: Embedded in the road, it includes a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) using LM 566 IC and a MOSFET, generating signals for power transfer.
- Receiver Circuit: Equipped in the vehicle, it captures power through a coil, converting the electromagnetic field into electric current, stored initially in a capacitor.
Key Features:
- Electromagnetic Induction: Enables efficient power transfer from the transmitter to the receiver circuit.
- Smart Energy Storage: Current captured by the receiver coil is stored in a capacitor, which can be further used to power the vehicle or other devices.
Future Enhancements:
- Solar Integration: Utilizing solar power to minimize electricity waste.
- IR Sensors: Implementing sensors to activate the system only when a vehicle is detected, ensuring energy is used efficiently.
