introduction module

LEVEL 1

firstly we have to know the basic concepts regarding CAD to do the tasks in Fusion 360

Secondly I applied for an educational license in Autodesk and then downloaded the Fusion 360 folder to do the task


Isometric and orthographic projections

actually in this task by used a mini-drafter and all I tried to sketch a few basic orthographic projections.

2D Drawings in CAD

In this task, I used Fusion 360 and in the front view, I designed a few designs in the sketcher workspace. with the help of friends and YouTube, I learn how to do 2D drawings. while doing the task I learned many options like mirrors, circular patterns, different types of lines, constraints, etc... a glimpse of a few 2D Designs alt text alt text alt text alt text alt text

2D Drafting [SEIRPINSKI TRIANGLE]

Sierpinkski triangle is one of the most well known fractals and it 3 dimensional analogue of the triangle .it is a self-similar fractal. It consists of an equilateral triangle, with smaller equilateral triangles recursively removed from its remaining area.

In the Allen key, I design the key in one axis then by using the option called extrude I complete the Allen key alt text

2. 3D Modelling

Solid Modelling

with the help of Fusion 360, I designed a simple aerofoil for an HTOL aircraft. alt text


Surface Modelling

A toroidal propeller is a type of propeller that is ring-shaped with each blade forming a closed loop. The propellers are significantly quieter at audible frequency ranges where humans are not susceptible to sensitivity, between 20 Hz and 20 kHz, while generating comparable thrust to traditional propellers. In practice, toroidal propellers reduce noise pollution in both aviation and maritime transport. alt text

while doing the post box I used the extension called flange. Select the edge and flange it, it is so easy for me.


Organic Designing using forms

I designed the white marble hollow vase for MARVEL by using the Fusion 360 alt text


3. 3D Printing

In the 3d printing task firstly I went through the article written by Prjawal Awar regarding 3d printing along with some videos on YouTube like how it works even I know some concepts about Ultimaker Cura, bed temperature, nozzle temperature, types of filaments, and all. by knowing 3d printing I did a one key chain by using 3d printing.


ELECTRONICS

Make basic gates using TTL logic.

In Tinker CAD by using NPN transistor I made the Basic AND, OR gate

The AND gate is a logic Boolean gate that represents multiplication in basic algebra. When both inputs to the AND gate are forced to a logic HIGH (1) level, the output will be forced to a logic HIGH (1) level. But if either of the inputs are forced to logic LOW (0) the output will be forced to a logic LOW (0).the transistors are in series and both transistors must be conducting to drive the output high. 

The OR gate is a logic Boolean gate that represents addition in basic algebra. If either of the inputs or both inputs to a basic OR gate are forced to logic HIGH (1) the output is forced to logic HIGH (1). If both of the inputs are forced to a logic LOW (0) the output is forced to a logic LOW (0). This closely resembles the addition statement where only Boolean variables are allowed.
For the OR logic, the transistors are in parallel and the output is driven high if either of the transistors is conducting.

Driving an N-channel MOSFET

The voltage regulator regulates the supply voltage for the internal circuit. The oscillator drives a charge pump, which drives the gates of external N-channel MOSFETs. A charge pump is a voltage booster that generates a voltage for the gate drive of N-channel MOSFET An N-channel MOSFET uses electrons to create a current channel. This allows electrons to move quickly and easily through the current when the MOSFET is activated and switched on. alt text
